The Course Format

  • The course follows a modular format made up of a pre-reading section followed by over 12 hours of video theory lectures and practical video demonstrations (see here for the course syllabus).

  • There are also lots of practise exercises designed to gradually build your confidence in the various techniques required for LDBA.

  • A printed lecture manual, practical manual and laminated reference cards accompany the online material.

  • Access from anywhere - view the course content in your web browser or the dedicated mobile app.

  • Finally, to gain your Certificate of Competence in Live & Dry Blood Analysis, you are required to submit three practise-client case studies. These allow you to gain real-world experience of the entire consultation process and to enable you to demonstrate to us that you have a sufficient understanding of the theory and skills required.

  • The course will take a minimum of 25-30 hours to complete, not including the three case studies. We recommend repeating some of the practical training sections and possibly some of the more technical theory lessons in order to ensure you have a sound grasp of everything taught. Students will continue to have access to the online lessons after their training is complete.

Start whenever you like, work at your own pace, and repeat sections if needed.

I found this course very comprehensive, well thought out, and delivered in a very clear way. I appreciated being able to go back and rewatch segments (some several times), and will enjoy being able to go back in the future once I start to use the training with clients.

Thank you!

Ongoing Support

Supporting our students both during and after the course is very important to us at Naturecure Academy. We are proud of the community of new analysts that we are helping to build and very much hope that you will remain part of that community after your training is complete. To support students we offer the following:

  • Direct Mentoring - when you have completed the course material, it is time to start practising what you have learnt by undertaking 3 real life case studies. During this process, your course tutor will work with you individually, giving you feedback and encouragement, until you reach a sufficient level of proficiency to pass the course. Read about this experience from some of our recent students here.

  • Email support - we are always available to answer any questions that you have, about any of the theory or techniques covered in the training, or any other issues that arise as you become a professional analyst.

  • Facebook Group - we host a private Facebook Group called  Naturecure Academy LDBA Community which is a place for new and past students to connect with our tutors, other students and seasoned LDBA practitioners happy to swap advice and answer questions. This community is very welcoming of new students and there is no such thing as a stupid question!

  • 1-to-1 Training - we also offer more focused additional training which can be undertaken in person for students in the UK, or remotely via ZOOM (not included in course fee).

Who is this training for?

  • This course is open to anyone who has studied or is studying medicine, nursing, nutrition or naturopathy to a professional level that enables them to gain practitioner’s insurance cover to practice on the public, and gives an understanding of anatomy, physiology and nutrition (other medical/natural/complementary health qualifications may be accepted if there is a nutritional component or the student has undertaken supplementary nutritional training).

Experience or training in clinical practice is essential as it is necessary to be able to make client assessments. Live and Dry Blood Analysis is an add-on enhancement to any nutrition or complementary health practice and it is not possible to use it sensibly and ethically without the required background.

If you are not sure whether your qualifications are suitable, please complete our ‘no obligation’ online application form and we will let you know.

Please Note: For more details or if you do not yet have a relevant qualification, see here for information about our entry requirements and recommendations on choosing professional nutrition courses that would qualify you for LDBA training.

  • We accept those that are currently studying for a relevant qualification but have not completed their course yet. Studying LDBA alongside other courses is actually a great way of learning, however qualification in the primary course is required before final certification can be given by Naturecure Academy Ltd.

  • Due to the technical nature of the subject matter being taught, students must be proficient in the use of the English language.

Buying a Microscope

As well as offering excellent training we can also help you to source a high-quality microscope suitable for Live Blood Microscopy at a very competitive price, with our exclusive arrangements with several reputable microscope suppliers worldwide.
